Augusta Township is a community of opportunity and at the same time offers many avenues for recreation. With the St. Lawrence River for boating, fishing, swimming, and scuba diving, Limmerick Forest and Maitland Trails for walking, hiking, horse back riding, skiing, snowmobiling, and ATVing, there is ample opportunity for families to play together and enjoy the great outdoors.

Organized sports such as baseball, soccer, and hockey leagues thrive in our community. Equine training facilities , motor sports, seasonal festivals and holiday parades all welcome participation. A short drive away are museums, movie theaters, live entertainment Playhouses, Fort Wellington , as well as many dining establishments.
