Reeve's Message

When I became active as your Reeve in January of 2007 I was concerned with the apparent lull in our Emergency Planning Program. I am pleased to report that during the summer and fall of 2007 our program underwent a complete upgrade. It is an undertaking that has the support of ; myself , council and municipal staff. I hope I will never have to declare a Municipal State of Emergency , but , I feel deeply that it is something we should ALL be prepared to undertake. I hope you enjoy visiting this portion of our website and you will personally consider implementing some of the ideas put forth. Emergency Preparedness is a job for our entire Municipality if we are to become an Emergency Resilient Community."
